Does anyone have any ideas how to try and fix this bug myself before taking to Apple store?

What's not working with it ? Have you got the relevant categories selected in Settings > Spotlight Search
I cannot see that iLuvA has got a solution. Neither I've been able to use the spotligt search founction, allthough I've
ttickedg the relevant category in Settings>general>spotlight (Notes, which on top has a lacking search ability internally). I see no icon either to press to activate search.
Spotlight search does not work on Ipad 2?
