how do I disable voice control

Settings - General - Accesibility - Voiceover off, Zoom off.

Voice Control, not Voice Over. Seems like everyone tells how to shut off the voice over, not voice control. As far as I can tell, one cannot shut off the voice control with jailbreaking the device.

Voice control does not work....ever. This feature only disrupts the ipod application. The feature is completely useless and annoying. It does not recognize your voice, speeds up my songs lol and disables the pause feature. This feature should be forgotten along with Tim Cooke.

Wrong. There is no way to defeat Voice Control. You're confusing VoiceOver with Voice Control.

Go to Settings - General - Passcode Lock "Enter your passcode" - Voice Dial (switch ON/OFF)

NB: Music Voice Control is always enabled

I have done this: Gone to Settings - General - Passcode Lock, entered passcode, and switched off Voice Dial.

But it didnt fix the problem. Voice control still kicks inn all the time when lisening to mye Spotify music. I wish it was posible to get totaly rid of it. Any idéa on how to solve this? :-)

No. Hopefully Apple brings us an update that'll let us disable Voice Control. Otherwise I think Jailbreak is the only possibility at the moment.

Jag har samma problem med det enda som funkade för mig var att använda standard headsetet till iPhonen, då funkar musiken som den ska!

I got the same problem but the only thing that works for me is to use the standard headset to your iPhone, than the music works as it should!

I have the same problem, and I don't have a solution. Just wanted to join the choir in a hope that Apple will see that people are anoyed by this and want it removed in the next update.

And yes, it's Voice Control (not voice over) that's the problem.

Except that there is no "choir" and Apple doesn't read these posts.

Not bothered about music interuptions. I have worse problems. I lean against a cupboard/drawer/whatever and the button on the phone is pressed accidentally for a couple of seconds, voice control switches on, and the phone hears something it mistakes for someone's name and promptly calls them! "Sorry, my fancy iphone malfunctioned" doesn't really wash with the boss at 7am on a Sunday morning. But what to do?
