Q: Problems with FCP X 10.0.4

Just updated to FCP X 10.0.4, and everytime I make a cut and then try to play the clip after it, the playhead doesn't move and I can't hear any audio, yet you can see the person talking in the viewer... it's done this to me 3 times in 5 min! Ugh!  It never did this to me in 10.0.3, so I'm wondering if others are having issues.  Also, the Timecode Reader plugin doesn't work after you cut and delete something (it only reflects the normal reader that's in Final Cut).  Kind of upset that the "updates" Apple made have only caused me MORE problems then I had yesterday!!!!

Check that the sample rate of ALL your audio is 48 k.

Hello aerikson09.  I am having that same probelem, but also in addition it stops playing all together.  It's actually blank in the viewer and the time doesn't advance.

I too hope Apple helps.  I wonder if it has something to do with the project updatig that it did upon upgrading?  If that is so, is there a way to manuallly re-update a project - as if perhaps one of my projects got "stuck" oriignally.
