How to unlock my iPod touch 5th generation without loosing or erasing my things?

So I changed my password because a lot of people knew it. The next day I forgot it and I do not know what to do. I need all my information and my apps intact. I do not want to lose a thing so I did not restore it. Please help!!!! 😟 Any other options? 😢

If you do not know the passcode you will have to connect the iPod to yuor computer and restore. If when you do iTunes asks you to enter the passcode you will have to place the iPod in Recovery mode and then restore. That is the only way. The passcode is a good security feature.
