Issues with Recently added and recently played

When I sync my iPhone, my recently added and my recently played wont sync to my phone. Why?

iPhone 4, iOS 5.1

Can those playlists be checked like the other playlists that are syncing to your phone?

Can the songs in those playlists even be played?

without that info I'd start with making sure iTunes is up-to-date or deleting and re-creating those playlists.

HT1801 shows how to create a smart playlists which is what each of those are.

"Recently Added" be default is stuff added in the last 2 weeks and "Recently Played" is any music played in the last 2 weeks.

Both these playlist are checked off. They have always showed up on my phone. It was only recently that they didn`t sync.

My iTunes is up to date.

If I delete them how can I make another default playlist like they are, by using the smart playlist

yea, make idential playlists. Before you delete and then rebuild them, right-click (or control-click if Mac) on the playlist and choose "Edit" to view the rules. Write them down for both, then do File>New Smart Playlist and use those same rules.

or maybe unsync all music and then sync it back?

this happened too me after I updated to iOS 6.......

BUT I RESOLVED IT BY PLUGGING IN YOUR PHONE AND GOING TOO MUSIC AND CHECK THE SYNC MUSIC BUTTON AND UN-SYNC ALL YOUR MUSIC THEN RE-SYNC IT AND ALL YOUR SONGS SHOULD WORK!
