I am receiving this message as well. I downloaded 7 songs successfully and then on the 8th song this occured. I can not go any further.
I am receiving this error too. I find that it happens when I click on the suggestions iTunes provides me when searching for a song or artist. If I fully type it out myself and hit enter then I don't encounter the error
My teenage daughter just figured this out, and we have been doing this successfully now for a couple weeks.
Thanks for the reply,
I am not sure how this support works on here. What was the solution or how do i see the reply that you are using that works.
There is NO SUPPORT from apple. They are cluless and zero help. All they have been able to do is send me on a wild goose chase by offering tons of links and telling me go search for yourself.
Our suggestion here is only a bandaid...NOT a solution. We simply figured out if you type the entire name in the search box on the ITunes store....and do not select the drop down suggestions....the error seems to not happen.
So when you are searching in the store....do not click on the suggestion...go ahead and type the name in full and hit enter.
Good luck
This is a similar solution to what others have said, but with a twist. Found it on another internet site and it works for me. Type in your search term. When itunes comes up with the list of possible matches go down the itunes list with the cursor arrow and while it is highlighted hit the "enter" key (do not use the left click on the mouse). I know it is not a true fix but it works for now
Happyguy1234's reply solved it for me...thanks! As he says, it's not a true fix but it keeps you from getting kicked out of iTunes every time you do an app store search.
All i did was go into the uninstall menu in control panel and then click to uninstall Itunes, you get three choices, uninstall, change, or repair.choose repair and click it and it repairs itunes, it worked for me so far!
