I followed one of the Communities responses to get iTunes to work but then my library wasn't there. How do I restore it? I have Time Machine but where do I look to restore my iTunes library?

You library unless changed resides in ~/Music/iTunes
HUH? And do what? The link didn't help me. I can see them in folders but what next? Do I have to port each "track"? I don't understand.
In iTunes, select Add To Library and select the folder containing all the songs from your drive. Are they on your computers hard drive or your external hard drive?

Yes, I got it. I transferred it from my external hard drive but my playlists didn't come over. When I tried to sync to see if I could get my playlists back, it didn't recognize the original library. I tried to import the playlists but I don't see how it's listed in the iTunes folder.
This is the only problem I had after upgrading to Lion. That's not that bad, don't you think?
I've seen a lot worse! Also sometimes it gives you a chance to renew your playlists and refresh them a bit. A pretty good out come really, I have seen people with no backups lose all their songs. End of the world stuff for me!!!! lol
