Q: My new i Pad3 will not sync with my iTunes on my laptop (Windows 7)

I cannot get my iPad3 to sync with my iTunes on my laptop which runs on Windows 7 home Premium. When I start to sync it goes as far as step 2 then stops or jumps from step 2 to step 4 and stops. Sometimes a message comes up saying that the sync failed because of an unknown error.

Are you running the latest version of iTunes?

You may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.
