Canon MF4450 will not print.

My windows 7 machine is networked (Netgear router) to my G5 (OSX 10.5.8) which is USB connected to an Epson 1400 and a Canon MF4500 using Bonjour. The windows machine works fine with the Epson. The Canon will not print. Everything seems to work but the actual printing of the job. The windows machine does its thing. The log on the G5 note the job and says it is complete; nothing is printed, the Canon remains still. I know Bonjour can handle two printers, a week ago I had an HP instead of the Canon (the HP now on its way to recycling heaven) and it functioned. The new Canon works directly from the G5. It works when connected directly (usb) to the Windows machine. It is listed as a Bonjour printer.
