Can't connect to Itunes Store,

I have a Windows 7 operating system and have had off and on trouble with Itunes. Now, I am unable to access the Itunes store, but I am connected to the internet. I have made sure that the firewall is turned off for Itunes, not sure what else I can do to get it working?

I think the various LSP-related issues have been around since about iTunes 10.3.x, but sometimes only crop up for people after updating to iTunes 10.5.x and 10.6.x. Also, the various symptoms seem to differ from machine to machine and from time to time. So it's plausible that some of the other off-and-on issues you mentioned have been LSP-related. (Granted, they might well have been unconnected to the current issue, too.)

At any rate, if you want to try getting the LSP issues off the table with your current Store access issue, I'd try wiclee's instructions from the following post (basically, it returns the values in the Winsock-related registry key to their default settings, removing the Bytemobile LSP):

Re: i cannot connect to itunes on my laptop

... but as noted before, I'm not sure what this will do with your ATT Connection Manager. So it might be prudent first to check in with AT&T support to see if they've got a less aggressive procedure for making the Bytemobile LSP coexist more smoothly with iTunes.

THE ONLY WAY TO GET THIS WORKING IS GO TO CONTROL PANEL, UNINSTALL ALL APPLE SOFTWARE, ICLOUD, ITUNES, SAFARI, MOBILEME,BONJOUR APPLE UPDATE SOFTWARE.
NOW SEARCH ONLINE FOR AN OLDER VERSION OF ITUNES.. I USED VERSION 9.

AFTER UNISTALLING THE CURRENT VERSION YOU HAVE, RESTART YOUR COMPUTER AND INTALL THE VERSION 9.

YOU MIGHT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE ITUNES LIBRARIES BECAUSE YOU ARE INSTALLING AN OLDER VERSION.

SEARCH FOR THIS FILE "itunes library.itl" MAKE SURE ALL FOLDERS AND FILES ARE SET TO NOT HIDDEN SO YOU CAN SEE IT.

DELETE IT WHEN YOU FIND IT.

NOW RUN OLD VERSION AND ITUNES STORE SHOULD RUN FINE.

FYI, just solved the same or similar problems on Win XP (no device connectivity, no iTune store connection, AppleMobileDeviceService.exe hogging CPU) that turned out to be the AT&T Communication Mgr's installation of "Bytemobile" Winsock as some kind of graphics "accellerator", and it's conflict with Apple Bonjour.

For me the solution was to open the AT&T Communications Mgr, select Settings, select the Accellerators tab, then "Uninstall" next to Bytemobile Accelleration Client.

After reboot, all issues solved. No need for iTunes un/reinstalls, netsh, etc.

(I don't think uninstalling this accellerator will affect fundamental use of a wireless card)

I just wanted to confirm this post. If you have problems with Bytemobile and iTunes 10, try downloading iTunes 9. After at least 10 hours messing around and on the phone with AT&T, uninstalling everything Apple-related, downolading and installing iTunes 9, and removing that library file (see efodela's post) allowed me to access the iTunes store.

Can't connect to Itunes Store,
