Servers EnterpriseYes. Why not. Just fake DNS on the server itself. It is the processes on the server that rely heavily on DNS. So when you set the server up, set up DNS and then point the server to itself. You can even use a fake TLD like .int if desired, as long as you never plan to allow access from the outside you will be fine. Then, if you don't want to do split horizon DNS, config your clients to reach it via IP address.
