OS X 10.4.5 HP Laserjet 1020 cannot print anymore

Hi

After installing the 10.4.5 update, I've noticed I was not able to print anymore on my HP Laserjet 1020. I've tried to delete and add the printer again and got the is message : "An error occured while trying to add the selected printer - successful-ok-conflicting-attributes". This printer worked perfectly under 10.4.4. I've also tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer driver in vain. Any idea ?

Thanks

I've basically lost all my features on my HP 4250N laserjet printer.

But I've always had problems with HP printers. So I dont know if its my Tiger update to 10.4.5 or not. I personaly will never purchase another HP printer.

I also have a Xerox 6250N Phaser printer I have had through several computers and several transitions of software and HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL.

DO THE MATH.

That really ***** !
I've spent a lot of time trying to fix it. No way, nada.
It's the first time I'm encountering a serious problem with my Mac though. But hey, not being to print anymore, that is a **** of a problem !
It looks like the quality assurance team hasn't done a great job on this release. Hope 10.4.6 will fix it.

Hey guys. I've posted elsewhere that I'm having a problem printer to my Brother 5170DN networked printer over a Linksys wireless network. I was assuming that it was because of some firmware upgrades I did on the router, but seeing this topic I 'm now thinking it might be 10.4.5 upgrade. My wireless network is working otherwise. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
