Behringer BCF2000

Do know you where I could find easy templates for Logic and Behringer BCF2000?

Does Behringer BCF2000 work well with Logic?

Can I use the faders only for first 8 tracks? If I can use it for example 32 tracks, how do I flip the view?

G5, Mac OS X (10.3.9)

Boot the BFC up in Logic mode and it acts like a Logic Control. There's a PDF in the help section on using control surfaces. I'm pretty sure that the BCF has bank switching (after all, there are more than 8 tracks in the DAW's that the BCF supports. It wouldn't be much of a control surface if you couldn't control various tracks. As far as a flip button, check Behringer's site.

There's probably a button to hold down when turning on the BCF to boot it up into Logic mode (I don't own a BCF so I'm not an authority, but I know this is how the ProjectMix works).

The PDF I'm referring to is in Logic's help section. But, the manual for the BCF doesn't hurt to refer to either. I know when I started integrating my ProjectMix, although I got most things going just because they were right in front of me, I made sure I had the manual close by and it really helped discovering all of the neat little things that weren't so obvious (such as turning the metronome on and off while recording and changing automation modes - although this one needs a bit of fine tuning).

Glad you found the flip mode. I love flipping the controllers when I really want to put my fingers on certain parameters.

Glad that all worked out for you!

My only issue with the LCXView app is that for some reason (John P. can explain), with Logic Pro 7.x, and OS 10.4.5 and the LCXView app running, when opening up Logic for the first time, Logic doesn't recognize the BCF. There is a work around by going into control surface set up and doing a few clicks here and there, but I'm one lazy dude! I stopped using it in my day to day "recording" mode. I'll probably pull it back out when I'm needing to do heavier mix downs. The new Control features of Logic 7.2 (coloring the track in Arrange) seems to be handy as well (I hear anyway).. I'm still on LP 7.1.1.
