No. You should only use RAM spec'd specifically for your machine. Mac's are very picky about RAM & using RAM not spec'd for your machine can/will lead to problems.
The correct RAM for a late 2011 MBP is: 204-pin PC-10600 (1333 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM. If you adhere to those specifications, you can install 16 Gb Ram in your MBP. Any deviation from those specifications will, as wjosten indicates, invite potential problems.
