Music from my IPod Nano only plays from the left speakers when connected to my built in system in my car. No sound comes from any of the passenger side speakers.

Do you get normal stereo sound from your Nano when using headphones? If so then the problem is not with the iPod but with the car's sound system, or more likely the cable connecting the two.
