Does anyone know an app similar to Voice Thread that does not cost?

iOS 5 is only compatible with a 3G or 4G iPod Touch. If you have a 2G or 1G iPod Touch, you are out of luck. See this article to help you identify what generation your iPod Touch is if necessary.
I do not have any suggestions for alternative to Voice Thread.
