Q: New ipad 3 itunes sharing

I have a new ipad (3) there is no ipod under the settings menu

iPad (3rd generation) Wi-Fi, iOS 5.1, sharing itunes library with ipad3

Thank you. I thought that but dont seem to have the next steps when i enter that menu either!

Settings > Music > Home Sharing won't appear unless you are connected to a network - are you connected to the same network as your computer ?

For some reason i get a messaage saying 'unable to turn on home sharing' on the ipad :-( i am in the same network.
