how do u delete everything of ipod classic? manually

Normally, we use iTunes, after connecting the iPod

  1. Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
  2. Click Restore.

If you dont have iTunes, you can try to erase the iPod in Mac OSX, using Disk Utility, Erase function.


In Windows, you need some 3rd Party apps to reformat it into FAT32, unless your iPod is smaller than 32GB, then Windows can reformat it into FAT32. There was some Command Line format parameters, but I'm not sure it handle larger than 32 GB hardisk.
