iTunes doesnt show the store, etc.

My husband has an iPhone and his own iTunes account on his own computer which is running on WindowsXP. I went to update his phone to the iOS5 update tonight (yes, just getting to it) and it said I needed to update iTunes first. I did this, took a couple tries, but it said it updated it. Trouble is it looks the same. Only shows Music, Movies, and TV Shows. It does not show Podcasts, Books, Apps or Radio. Here is a screen clip. It does not show the iTunes Store, iTunes Match, Ping or Purchased. Obviosly this is not right. My iTunes is 10.6.1.7, his says 10.6.0.40. I didnt know if his is supposed to be a different # than mine, because he has XP and I have Windows 7? I feel like I am missing something obvious here, but hey my kid is sick and literally attached to my lap it seems and I cannot think straight. Also all his apps disapeared from his phone after the update and I had to reinstall them, but not a biggie. So did this thing just NOT update when it said it did or is this something else?

Close your iTunes,

Go to command Prompt -

(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".

(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt

In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in

netsh winsock reset

Hit "ENTER" key

Restart your computer.

If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.

Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:
