Except the questions are poorly dsigned. Some are very difficult for some people to have answers for - remember, these are being asked of people with wildly different backgrounds around the world.

You can log in to your ID admin page it states that you can create your own question, but that option doesn't actually exist - maybe give them some feedback if you would like to have the choice.

if you have to write down the answers, its not security. if they are on paper then some one can find it. some one else with the answers to your security questions, hmmm how secure is that ? poorly implemented security on apples part

It's also not security if you use the same password for everything but what normal human can remember seven thousand different passwords, each one correctly consisting of a dozen or so randomly chosen characters?

In reality this is a positive move on Apple's part as it provides another degree of protection for you."

Your kidding right?

So your willing to provide more personal details on yourself to a large company. Then when they are hacked one day and your personal details are downloaded and used against you I wonder if you will still feel the same way.

Yes you will say they wont get hacked, as will Apple say, but I recall Sony said this as well last year. It is a shame that we are all so neive and supply this type of information to companies such as Apple and when it does go pear shapped there is no compensation and yet we are all the ones who are exposed.

The questions are clearly written by a 5 year old and I would suggest you use fake answers, write them down and tell apple how stupid they are. Dont get caught in this "its all about your security" when it is not.

No...I'm not kidding. I gave nothing so personal in choice of question or answer that Apple could possibly learn anything about me. I chose my first car. My favorite Car. My least favorite job.

None of these are personal enough that Apple has anything about me that I'm concerned about in any way. All the "oh my god" it's so invasive, is simply pooh. They aren't requiring your social security number or your bank account password. They're simple questions, so I just don't get what all the angst is, other than people just like to hear themselves complain and whine and moan...........
