Have you tried logging into your iTunes account a verifying that you have a valid payment method?
Also then try go to Settings>Store and sign out and sign back in again.
yes I have verified payment 9 times already, still no go. I will try sigining out and back in
it will not let me sign out to sign back in...when I try to sign in it wants me to verify, , then it says this apple ID has not yet been used with itunes store, review information. I click ok and got thru the process again, then it just sits a spins waiting to connect to store, but never odes connect to store
If you are doing this on your iPod try doing it on your computer.
and just an fyi...I am doingthis on my computer, I had no idea it could be done on the ipod, just got the thing used from someone

Apple was having problems earlier this morning
I think iCloud and all of that stuff is down.
As I said in my previous reply Apple WAS having a problem. Now Apple is only having a problem with Game Center
