Hi have an Ipod Classic and it got wet in the rain . I tried to turn in on and a huge X appears. Is there anyway for it to be repaired. Please let me know.

My iPod Classic did not get wet but upon disconnecting it from the wall charger, there is the same big, red, "X" that KIpod was talking about. I found a solution on Apple's help site. They recommend putting the device in disk mode to reset. The process they describe is not working for me and I am concerned. Any ideas would be very much appreciated. I have a lot on this device and I'd love to get it working again.
