iPod touch home button stuck

My 9 month old ipod touch 4th generation's home button is stuck since 2 days ago. So, i took it to only apple authorised in my country, Nepal. They say they dont have policy of opening and fixing the ipod instead they replace it with new one but the guy told me my ipod touch has been opened because of dirt stuck on the side of my ipod touch( which i thought it was normal for ipod) and warrenty is void. But i have never had it opened because i never needed to until now. First my macbook pro with its spin retry count error and now my ipod i am losing hope with apple products. I started my professional carrer since last year and i decided to go apple and it has caused nothing but trouble. sorry for the rant.

hey! i found a quick fix. what you can do, for an alternative home button is;

1. go to settings.

2. go to general.

3. scroll to accessibility

4.scroll to assistive touch

5. turn it on.

and there you have it! you're own little home button on the screen which is discreet, you can drag it anywhere, have the full operation of a physical home button, and some other cool stuff.

you're welcome.(:
