Everytime I close Itunes it loads back up

I never had this issue until 6 months ago, I have been looking on the internet for a solution and I cannot seem to find one.

ITunes works perfectly but when I close it just reopens and I have to go to task manager and end process it.

These are the few fixes I have tried but did not work -

Reinstalling ITunes x64 (not really a fix but thought I would say it anyway)

Disabling Firefox plugin

Stopping ITunes starting when windows starts in msconfig

and a few other I cant quite remember

I hope someone can help me

Do you have Logitech Gaming software installed on your computer, if so, uninstall it and see if it resolves the issue.

Yes I do, and uninstalling Logitech Gaming software has fixed the problem but now i cant use my G19 keybored and G35 headset 😟

Restart you computer.

Now reinstall the software may get both to work this time. But if not, you may just disable the media applet and see if it helps.

Had a good look on the logitech foram and found this and it has fixed my issue 🙂 -

Open iTunes, Play a song. On the LCD, the Media should open. Press the "menu"-key on your G19. Press "ok" to enter the Configuration. Now a configuration is opened at windows. Uncheck the box with iTunes and click "ok".

After that you can close iTunes normally.

If your still having problems as I was on windows 7 with a G15 logitec keyboard installed. Logitec have released a new version of there gaming software to fix the itunes reopening after being closed issue. See below link

This worked for me. I have a G19. Not too thrilled with Apple products but I got an ipad issued to me with my new job and wanted to add some ebooks to it. Itunes not closing was a deal breaker for me. Thanks for this post!!!
