multiple "no sender," email in inbox

I have 50 email in my inbox on my iPad 2 from "no sender" with "no subject" with sent dates ranging from 12/31/69 to 12/31/00. They only show on the screen in the "All Mailboxes" window. They do not show in any of the 3 email accounts when show individually. I am unable to edit and delete these emails. They do not show on my iMac mail inbox.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

My phone crashed yesterday and has been acting funny since. I'm also getting the ghost emails and I have tried everything online to fix it with no success. What's stranger is if I scroll past all the ghost emails I see emails from another mailbox. It's funny to me that this started happening on my old iPhone 6 once the new iOS was released (and a new version of the phone!)

I we nt to an Apple Store and they said the problem is with our servers and I haven't had an opportunity to call mine yet. I tried the "fixes" in this forum and they didn't work. I can tell you how to get rid of them but they will come back. When they pop into your inbox, go to your mailboxes (upper left corner) then hit your inbox again and your wanted email will be there and the "ghost" email will be gone.

First, I know Apple isn’t here and never made a post suggesting they were.

The fixes I have tried were the ones you posted on April 22, 2012. They did not work for me, but did for some...that's good! I did come up with a solution to get rid of them when they appear (which I posted here) but it doesn’t stop them from reappearing.

I plan to contact my server as suggested by Apple but not extremely hopeful.

Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'

If that doesn't work then try closing the Mail app completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.

Also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
