URGENT : Iphone 4 locked after upgrade to ios 5.1..there was some error at last step shown in itunes in the last step...now phone showing only one screen that connect it to itunes...n when i connect the wires,nothing happens in phone or itunes...i had bought it unlocked from usa....n after upgrading nothing is happening....i'm handicapped without my phone....please help me out...

The iPhone was not legitimately unlocked by the carrier

The iPhone was hacked to release the AT&T lock and updating it has relocked the iPhone

Only AT&T can process the unlocking procedure

Certainly not Apple

i dint buy any AT&T locked or contractfon...i had bought it last june from usa...der was some prob in microphone n company replaced it with this new one...i had bought unlocked phone only...i'm in india right now...wht can i do now??

There's nothing you can do. From where in the US did you purchase your phone? Did the phone come with a SIM card?

i had bought 4m apple store itself.....actually when i had bought the fon, i had gone to 1 local vendor to install contacts 4m my old sony'sfon...so can this prob coz f that fellow??? what can i do now???it's not 1 yr completed....
