Q: My Apple Tv is connected to my wifi but will not connect to internet nor will it accept my home sharing password.. Please help

Im having problems with Apple TV. Im not that tecki either. It worked well for months then one day it stopped connected to the internet. The wifi signal strength is 5 bars. On Network time it says Not set (unreachable) and on activation it says failed.

Also it will not allow me to connect to my iMac though home sharing

Please anyone with any ideas?

And you sure it is connected to your network, and isn't just using a self assigned 169 address.

Have you tried restarting the Apple TV and your router.

Hi i solved my problem by taking the Apple Tv back to the store where they exchanged it for a working one. It was faulty
