Tried face time for the 1st x and got 'internal face time error'. tried 3 more x. Any thoughts or solutions?

- And then, I restarted the iMac and FaceTime works again.

I didn't get to try your solution.......what's 'repair disk permission'? After quiting for about 1 hr. I tried it again and it worked, first try. Filled out all the stuff and called my brother.

"Repair disk permission" can resolve many things on your Mac. Do it once a week and you'll be fine. Go to Utilities and then choose Disk Utilities or something like that. On the left, choose your Hard Disk. On the center, you'll see three tabs (SOS, Remove/Delete, Restore, etc). Choose SOS and click on "Repair disk permissions". Then, let the Mac to work. It may be a long operation. Do it once a week or once per two weeks and your Mac will be fine.
