How do I change my rescue email?
I do know how to change my rescue email for my account, please help!!!

- Go to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/158/wa/directToSignIn ?wosid=tUGxDOIANb3vk5rtm8ab8M&localang=en_US
- After you sign in, go to the "Password and Security" tab on the left hand side of the screen.
- Answer your security questions.
- Scroll down and locate the section titled "Rescue Email Address".
- Click either "edit" or "delete" and DONE!
The link above does not work. Is there another one? I realy need to change my rescue e-mail.

What if I'm not getting the verification email? I accidentally made my main email my rescue email, so it won't let me change the Apple ID now until I change the rescue email. However, no matter how many times I click "send verification email" to the Apple ID email address, I am not receiving it so I can't get into my account. How do I fix this????
None of these seem to work. I need to change my rescue email also. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an option for 'rescue email' on the manage your account page. I've looked multiple times. Any other ideas please?
It's not working because you're not following instructions properly. Go to "manage your account" on the left hand side, click "password and security". The rescue email option is on the right hand side in the middle of text. READ.
I really don't understand how you can't get into your account. If its not letting you change your apple id, then your old id should still work. If not then you should call an apple representative.
I don't know how this is possible. Did someone else do it for you without consent? Anyways, I don't think it's a major problem unless real security purposes are necessary.
I have the same problem, i.e., I never receive the verification email at the new rescue email address that I am trying to add. Very frustrating.
It is not listed on my screen as an option either.
that option doesn't come up on my account and I assume the others are not seeing that option either. I've followed those directions 3 times and for some reason, it won't let me modify, add, or edit anything about my rescue email
same here...I cant buy any apps, because i need to answer my security question(s)..apparently my answers are wrong..when i manage my account..it says it will send security question reset info to my g-mail account(which i dont have a gmail account...apparently it is a rescue email...and event hough i can access my account info, i cant change my rescue email or security questions, without knowing the security question..its so lame. i dont think there is any help but i thought id add my 2 cents...
