Q: Upgrade 10.4.11 with Parallels

I need to upgrade to leopard because my new printer will not run.  I have Autocad on my Parallels and I cannot afford to lose it.  If I buy the leopard disk can I install it without losing any of my current programs?  Thanks

Back up your system before proceeding, and if desired, use the Mac OS X install DVD to partition the internal drive. Since you're using Parallels Desktop, you have an Intel Mac and should purchase 10.6 instead of 10.5.
