The external screen is not cracked. Internally the screen appears damaged, mutliple colors cover it partially. I can see enough to post this 😟 If so, how would you go about repairing it?

All you can do is have the screen replaced by an authorised Apple service centre.
While you're at it , it would be wise to check for other damage. Start by running Apple Hardware Test in extended mode several times to check for any hardware issues.
A physical inspection can be carried out during the repair process.
