or looking for a similar in functionality current HP Laser printer that does have drivers available for OS X 10.7, for example:

Caution! Since this is not a driver for the 1020, you may/may not have some of the same features described, however, you should be able to have basic print functionality. Good Luck!

Sunday I installed my old HP Laserjet 1020 on the Mac Lion OS using the 1022 driver for which there is a Mac driver. It works fine. Just do a search here or on the Internet for the instructions.
