Actually I have found the whole experience has taken far to much of my time. A good lesson learnt because I will now not change over To Apple for my main computer. My IPad is nice for Emil's in bed. Can someone tell me how I stop getting emails from the forum?

Tech support finally got back to me and reset my security questions. I was able to change the questions and enter the answers successfully. Full access restored. My account lock-out problem is solved.

Do I have to call customer service for this to be solved?! I haven't changed anything! I just received the email a while ago telling me that I recently change my security questions.

I got the link to reset my secret questions, but the email was one that was extremely unknown to me.. and yes I have given out my itunes account's user and password (which, in times like these, i feel extremely regretful) but only to a handful and to people who are extremely close to me eg. family members and a few close friends.

So now, I have no idea what to do

beekaybee: if you didnt see that RESET YOU SECURITY ANS then try again using differ op system and pc but for me that option does occur.......it's been a while when apple modified the users account so user will not be able to reset his questions and answers once he added so you can try it by changing your country and your op system

    THANKS

forgot my ansewrs to my apple id security questions.  How can I change my answers?

  • emmkayye Level 1 Level 1

    1. There should be some rescue email option underneath your security questions (like what others have said in the previous posts), allowing you to reset them but if not then go to option 2.

    2. Go to the support, choose your device and choose express lane - I must warn you that express lane might not work. For me I had to refresh a million times and try it the next day.

When you get into express lane, chose the topic iTunes and fill in the required details. Then you will be able to write them an email. In the email say you want to reset your security questions. It was a quick fix for me and the person was very understanding.

    Hope it helps.

So there is really no way to fix the security answers. Apple has fix the problem. I gotten two questions that i know but then it still says there wrong.

So there pretty much is no way to reset you're answers without getting apple involved if I don't have the emergency email message underneath the security questions right?

I tried this, still waiting for a response.  The email they sent stated they are unable to do so at this time.

    Hi Georgia

What phone number did you use for tech support? We have been waiting for over a week for Apple to fix our secret questions.

Apparently I don't know the correct answers to my own security questions (which I'm positive I do because there's no way I used any other answers to the questions I chose...) & now I can't purchase anything on iTunes or in the App Store & I've emailed them like four times already. Then because I entered the "incorrect" answers too many times my account was locked. I kind of would like to be able to purchase music again soon thanks.

    Use this link: https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/,

sign-in with your Apple ID and click on "change your password",

you don't have to change it, though.

You should see a link on that page to change your security questions, do that and save it.

I printed my screen so I would always have the new ones available to use.

This defintely worked (Thank God). Good Luck!
