Hi Guys!

 

I want install bootcamp (windows 7 64) But when i click boot camp assistan icon, its says :

 

"Boot Camp Assistant cannot be used: You must update your computer's boot ROM firmware before using this setup assistant"."

 

I have updated the latest firmware update, but this did not help.

There is my firmware specs:

Model number:     iMac12,2

Boot ROMin veresio: IM121.0047.B1F

SMC-veresion :     1.72f2

 

 

PLEASE! Someone help me! im freaking out!



iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.3)

The error message is erroneous misleading and useless. Causes trouble.

 

Zap pram and repair the hard drive is all you can actually do.

 

No one knows really why as there is never (okay once in 10,000 or less) times an update was needed.

 

Repair the hard drive. If still won't you may get it to work after an erase and restore or reinstall OS X over itself with Lion or SL.
