Copying file path and converting to Windows

My company is mostly PC and sending links to file locations happens regularly. Obviously, being on a Mac, that makes things difficult.

So, is there a way to go to a file path by copying and pasting the link directly from Outlook? In Windows, you just click the link and you're there. But Mac seems more difficult.

Also, I found how to create an Automator script to copy the location of a file or folder to the clipboard. However, it's a Mac path, not a Windows path. Is there a utility or script that I can use to convert it to a Windows path so that I can quickly copy and paste it into Outlook?
