Just bought a used extreme, which has no disk. how do I set this up?

Reset it with a "hard reset":

Download and install AirPort Utility if you do not already have it:

Lion: AirPort Utility 5.6.

Leopard, Snow Leopard: AirPort Utility 5.5.3.

Tiger: AirPort Utility 5.3.2

Panther: AirPort 4.2

There is a Windows version also.

Launch AirPort Utility. It will lead you step by step.
