Can I have iTunes auto update only the apps that are "designed" for the iPad?

Can I have iTunes auto update only the apps that are "designed" for the iPad? i.e., none of the 2x iPhone apps? Seems like I need to know which is which and do manually in iTunes. Thanks

There is no way to auto update apps at all. You have to select them to update or you can select update all but there is no way to do it automatically.
