My Battery won't charge to more than 47%

Hi,

No matter what I do, my battery won't Charge above the 47% since today. It is still showing the "charge-symbol" but it seems, that it stops there.

When I unplug the iPad, it's just counting down the battery as usual.

I rebooted the device and even restored it completely. Does'nt work either.

Anyone else having this issue?

iPad Wi-Fi + 4G, iOS 5.1

With luck, it's nothing more than the battery level indicator needing calibration. Use the wall-mount charger and charge it overnight. Then, use the iPad until it shuts down automatically. Ignore any low battery alerts that may appear prior to auto-shutdown. Then check to see if it charges properly.

Seems the battery is a bit messed up and sometimes this occurs whenever the user charges the device constantly for ex: if an iPhone is at 80% and the user charges it every time it drops a small % then the battery gets messed up. My suggestion is for you to let your iPad completely die out, use it as much as you can so it dies out which will occur when it shuts down on its own. Afterwards let it charge until 99-100% which should display by then. Best time to charge it is over night.
