Apr 30, 2012 7:01 AM in response to blacksheep_2011by Russ H,I said I'd report back on my latest test in Lion and have to say that it worked perfectly for the 13 minute file on a MBP running 10.7.
Not saying that's good news…or disappointing…just the latest news.

Apr 30, 2012 8:44 AM in response to blacksheep_2011by vp@apple,Svateh, in my case if I have already a job stuck at 95%, any other project, even a small 1 minute project will get stuck at 95%.
To re-start fresh, the Share monitor shall show no stuck jobs, and to get this I have to quit FCPX and Compressor, delete all files created by the stuck job if any, delete related System Preferences files for FCPX, restart the computer.
Than, if the share monitor is clean, I can export again projects, up to 13 minutes so far. Maybe longer projects also possible, but my next step up was 22 minutes and did not work.

May 2, 2012 7:47 AM in response to svantehby svanteh,I've tested with a clean install of Compressor on one of my Mac Mini.
A short project ≈ 2 minutes worked just fine! BUT a longer ons ≈ 25 minutes did NOT. I do wonder what's wrong.
Contacting Apple now.

May 9, 2012 11:33 AM in response to blacksheep_2011by mike_xDUBx,I have had the same problem since the latest update of Compressor. I have tried different source media (.mov, .mp4, and exporting directly from FCPX) all with the same results.
I installed the update mid way through the process of transcoding roughly 60 videos (half are one minute trailers and the other half are 25+ minutes in duration) and that's when I started having problems.
The one minute trailers transcode and segment fine while the 25 minute videos hang at 95% and only produce the audio segments.
I am running 10.7.3 on a 27" iMac i5 with 12GB of ram, and an i7 with the same specs. All with the same results.
Has anyone found a fix or a workaround?

May 20, 2012 11:31 PM in response to blacksheep_2011by blacksheep_2011,Is there any fix out there?
I need this function for a customer so it's very important that this error will be fixed quickly.
I've already fill in a bug report. It would be kind if you all could do the same.
Maybe the error will get a higher priority than.

May 21, 2012 12:37 AM in response to blacksheep_2011by svanteh,I filled out a bug report some week ago. As with some other problems with Compresssor I haven't worked out a work around.
Very annoying this is.

May 22, 2012 12:11 PM in response to blacksheep_2011by mike_xDUBx,Keep submitting your bug reports!!!
I have contacted compressor tech support and the bug is being looked into by apples software engineers.
The fix will more than likely come in the 4.0.4 update.. so don't hold your breath for a quick and full fix any time soon.
That being said..
I may have found a temporary workaround. When I submit a job that is prepared for HTTP Live Streaming and has multiple targets, only the first target is successfully segmented.
If you submit multiple jobs using the same source media, each with only one target (one job for each setting) you should end up with all of your .ts files. After that all you have to do is copy and open (in text editor) an old .m3u8, change the file names, and rename/save it with your .ts folders.
I have yet to try this but in theory it should work just fine.
The only other alternative I can think of would be to use a service such as zencoder.
