Is there a closing App for Iphone Apps?
Is there an Iphone App that will close all open Apps at once, instead of closing each one individually? Kind of like the "Kill App" from Android?

No. It's not necessary. The majority of the apps in the so-called "multi-tasking bar" are not actually running. It's just a list of recently used apps.

Hey Tim, I thought they could use up your internet if you don't close them "properly" in the task bar?
They can't unless they are acutally running and the vast majority of apps do not run in the background. See this for more info on multitasking...

Hey there...I'm no expert, but had my 4 for a year now. And this was a big problem for me. I guess it depends on WHAT apps you have opened and used, because mine remained open and most were running in the background and DiD cause my minutes to blow the doors off....that is until we figured out how to close them and then went unlimited with our data plans.
This was the first week of learning the phone and all the new "dos and dont's."
Also, if you have unlimited minutes, or some kind of plan such as that, you'll never likely notice if this is affecting you or not...but it did me--very pricey learning session...I might add.
I am not aware of a "kill" button for all of them at once, but it sounds like a great idea.

So to answer your question, no, there isn't one. Good luck getting all the iApologists to acknowlege that - they'll just sidestep your question and tell you why you don't need it in the first place, as the omniscient Ghost of Steve Jobs can do no wrong.
So to answer your question, no, there isn't one.
As clearly stated by KT in the first reply nearly 5 months ago... "No".
You are correct. I enjoyed how KT is quick to scold daculisvenom for even wanting one. Best not to anger Jobseidon!
Oh dear, what a large chip you have on your shoulder!
I didn't 'scold' anyone. I stated fact.
I enjoyed how you made yourself look like a complete fool by a) making snap judgements without actually bothering to comprehend what was said, and b) jumping in and reviving a thread that's been dead for over 4 months.
"It's not necessary," is an opinion, not a statement of fact. As individuals, we'll decide whether we need a particular app or not, thank you.
It is necessary - on my iphone when I have lots of apps running in the background my battery life is rubbish lasts less than a day! - when I force all the apps to close and start again - my battery lasts for days. why is this if it is not necessary
Hear, hear.
M_r_n !
Do not listen to this i'll conceived reply on which assumes "they are not running" Some are some are not.
The point is and the question was not asweared by your reply.
Yes there does need to be a iphone application which allows you with 1 button to kill all tasks that you want.
This would be an application that allows you to configure which tasks to kill.
Ie. Press a button
1. It kills all the programs appearing in that "last run list"
2. It kills background tasks that you have preconfigured to be shut off.
If someone writes this application I would buy it.
