mail missing
the mail app disappeared - where do i get it to reinstall? I am running lion

what do you mean it 'disappeared'? most likely you merely deleted it from the dock - look in the Applications folder to see if Mail is still there, double-click to open it so that it appears in the dock, and then choose 'keep in dock' from the contextual menu.
