I recently upgraded to a new HP with Windows 7. Now i-tunes won't play and I get messges that say "turn Off Compatability mode" and I-Tunes can't find the file. How do I turn off compatability mode or correct to Windows 7

I recently upgraded to a HP with Windows 7. I now can't play itunes on the computer. I get "can't find the original file" messages and compatability issue messages including "turn off compatability mode before opening i-tunes." How do I correct compatability iossues and how do I turn off compatability mode?.

I'd make one amendment to the instructions from the Apple document. When you're in the compatibility mode tab, be sure that none of the boxes in there are ticked (not just the Compatibility mode box itself). Having any boxes in there ticked whatsoever has the potential for producing a compatibility mode message.
