Though this is the OS X Server forum, I'm going to assume that you're really running OS X client and not OS X Server in the following...
Have you been entering your administrative password for various downloads, whether for video players or security tools or other stuff that's being offered to you when you visit various pages? Some of that is malware. Some of the malware that's around sends out warnings like that. The announcement will variously offer some tool or service to decontaminate the system and, well, then your computer really is infested.
On your OS X system, run Software Update ( > Software Update), and load the current updates to bring you to 10.6.8 or 10.7.3 (depending on what you're running) and that'll load the Java patch and related, and it'll clean off some of the recent cruft that might have been installed, and it'll also disable Java access from your browser by default. Also make sure your Adobe Flash Player is current, by going directly to the Adobe web site and updating that tool.
Then check with the Facebook security folks (http://www.facebook.com/security?), and see what they have to say about whatever notice you've received here.
