Q: My IPod will not allow me to return to the beginning.  I can press the menu button and it will not respond.  I have also tried to reset by pressing both the menu and center but ther is no response to it.  Help!

The wheel on my IPod nano, 5th generation is unresponsive when I try to use the menu part to go back to previous books.  It's also unresponsive when I try to reset by pushing the menu and center in at the same time.  Can anyone help?

If you have double checked to make sure the hold switch is not activated, it may be a hardware issue with the iPod's click wheel, meaning you'll need to have it serviced.

Before doing that though, it might help to try and restore to factory settings in iTunes as well to rule out a software issue.
