Q: Activating a new iPad?

Trying to set up my new iPad using the wifi and it keeps coming back with the message activation server cannot be reached, how do we get round this? Many thanks for useful answers

Wth your ipad on, turn wireless off and Cellular data off through Settings.

Start your PC and log into the account where iYunes is - but do not start iTunes.
Plug in your device using the 30pin cable and usb connector once you have executed the first command - then execute the second command to quit activation mode.
Unplug your device, start iTunes, plug back in and check you can perform a backup and sync. set wifi and cellular data back to on.

Switch your router off and back on again. Give it a few minutes and try again.
