new to apple but don't know how to transfer from windows to apple

Just order my Mac mini so I started to think about how will I transfer since I have no cd-drive just a 8mb flash drive and a windows configured external drive

so i know how to have an allot of MP3 and pics documents and favorites,e-mail,

I know I will have issues getting my e-mail and favorites to Apple so any suggestions ?
