My IPAD 2 all of a sudden is stuck on connect to itunes. I've tried to restart but it continues to go to connect to itunes.....

Then do as your iPad is instructing you and connect it to your computer via USB and iTunes.
When I connect it, it wants to restore my ipad which will delete everything.
You can restore from backup. Once the iPad is recognized on the left side of the iTunes screen, right click it once and choose restore from backup. You'll see the most recent backups (you have backed up your iPad, haven't you?). Choose the backup you want to restore from and you should be OK. If you have not backed up your iPad, you're going to have to start all over [sorry].
I have no backed it up... I can't believe this is happening after only having it for 4 months... Guess I'll take it to th e Apple store in the morning and pray they can at least save my school notes.... Thanks for your help!! =o)
If you've never backed it up, you're probably 99.99999% out of luck. This is why Apple makes it so easy to back up our devices. You could have set it up on the cloud, you could have used iTunes and your computer, but you should have used one of them. I'm not trying to chastise you, honest. But your experience should be a lesson to others. Once you're device is up and running again, please do yourself a favor and regularly back it up.
