I save I-Tunes music to my portable hard drive on windows media player but I am unable to play the music on another computer from my portable hard drive - is there any solutions to this?

I save I-Tunes music to my portable hard drive on windows media player but I am unable to play the music on another computer from my portable hard drive - is there any solutions to this?

When I'm on my work computer the music seems to be saved in a PDF format even though I saved it on my portable hard drive in windows media player format.

There would seem to be a problem with the file associations on the second machine. Use one of these alternative approaches:


  1. Go to Control Panel > Default Programs and click Associate a file type or protocol with a program.
  2. Right-click the file, click Open with > Choose default program.
