Q: IPad runs iOS5.1 why can't I access iTunes store?

My IPad software is up to date, however I'm not able to access iTunes store. Only allows pod casts and iTunes U. what can I do?

iPad, iOS 5.0.1, need access to iTunes USA ONLY
