re 'find my iPhone' app.
The app works well to and from my iMac and iPhone4 and my newiPad.
I have icons on home screens on iPhone and iPad named ' Find iPhone' and they work.
On the iMac i can only find this icon via iCloud screen. I would like to see it on my desktop or even better in the Dock
The icon in iCloud will not click and drag to desktop/dock. What am I missing ?

As soon as you have the right page before you (in Safari/iCloud): click the first part (https) on the link you see in the Safari Address Bar and drag it to the Desktop or (the right side of) the Dock. It will stay there and do what you expect
